Jo de Pear is a professional print maker. She studied for her BA at Edinburgh College of Art and her MA in Printmaking at Chelsea, London. She uses all of the varied printmaking disciplines, often combining two or three to create her semi-abstracted images. She lives and works in London
Jo has exhibited her work in almost every major print exhibition over the past few years. Exhibitions in the last twelve months have included Originals 2006 Mall Galleries, AAF Battersea Park/ Bristol and Bath, 115.oxo, Pond Gallery, Art for Africa, Originals 2005 Mall Galleries, Art for Youth,
The Mernier Chocolate Factory and Artichoke Open Studio Brixton.
Jo's work has been bought both by private collectors through to commissions for
Government and city offices and large corporations including British Airways.
A number of Jo's prints can be seen in the The Instant Printmaker,
published by Collins and Brown and the recently published book,
Etching and Photopolymer Techniques, Published by A and C Black.
