Still Lives
This series of prints are a collection of abstracted, topographical still-lives. The prints are abstracts of India developed from the ordered stalls of street doctors, dentists and food-sellers, to the more detailed, opulent prints that celebrate the plethora of religious ceremonies. I try to capture the feast of shape and form through a mixture of collograph, collage, monoprinting and etching techniques.
